"is it too late? it's a winding road that may take more than we know. it is too hard? have we gone too far to lose this last october?"

"ooh child, things are gonna get easier. ooh child, things'll get brighter."

This weekend was parents weekend and my mom, memere, and dad came up for lunch.
We ate a light breakfast at Au Bon Pain and then I showed them my dorm.
After that we walked to Newbury Street and had a HUGE lunch.
They left at 4:30 and my mom cried again. :(

"we are losers."

"she's nothing like a girl you've ever seen before."

Wore this to class last week and my Spanish teacher told me I looked "medieval."

"is a dream a lie if it don't come true, or is it something worse? that sends me down to the river."

"row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream."

Alumni 8 took 1st place.
Our assistant coach, Andrew, made a splash.
Men's team took 3rd place.
Women's team took 19th place.
Head of the Charles 2009.

"i can’t stand by the side and watch this life pass me by. so unhappy, but safe as could be."

Cait and I are unhappy. We miss Trinity.

I'm unhappier. I'm failing school. And I didn't get picked for top 8 in crew. I'm basically not good at anything, and not as smart as I hoped I'd be, just like high school, but without the awesome people that I miss.

My classes:
Interpreting the Day's News: A/B, i think.
College Writing: I just got a C+ on my huge paper that I actually tried on. With other grades I think I have a B/B-.
Medical-based Spanish: Just took the second quiz, probably have an A-/B+
Biology: F, I'm getting a tutor ASAP.
Biology Lab: A little better than the biology class but not by much
Journalism at NU: A, it's a pass/fail class.

I'm so mad at myself.
39 days until Trinity.
Technically 38 now since it's 2:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Neg, Becky, and Ian are at Club Rise, but I stayed in.
Tomorrow is the Head of the Charles Regatta.
I want to talk to loser's club.
Why is everything so difficult?

"yeah, i never thought we'd fall. it's hard to see the leaves between the forest and the trees from right here. how dare i push you away."

Bought this sweatshirt today. Pretty excited to wear it to practice along with my brand new long coldgear spandex. It's going to be freezing on the water.

Today was a sucky school day, but a good day.
I have the longest to do list ever:
-type all my biology notes
-study for my 9 question true/false biology quiz
-make spanish flashcards
-study for my spanish quiz
-finish my biology lab due friday
-cutout ads for english class

Tomorrow is going to be awful. Thursday always are so hectic. I wake up at 8 and don't stop until I get back from practice around 6. Then I have to keep myself awake for Grey's and Private Practice. Luckily I don't have journalism on Friday morning so if I actually finish my lab/do it in study hall right before class I can sleep in until 10. :)

I'm going to make sure the camera is glued to my eye the entire weekend. :)

Also, I'm getting these glasses sometime around Thanksgiving/Christmas, hopefully:

I basically want to be this girl:

Sorry this is the most random post ever. I have a couple more fashion pictures I'll probably post later tonight when I'm procrastinating studying for my two quizzes.

"oh, oh something beautiful."

1) I am in love with those boots. 2) The perfect plaid jacket. 3) Jenny Lewis-esque bangs. 4) Fur hat and gorgeous camera = perfection. 5) Those shoes. End of story. 6) Gorgeous neutrals. Lose the cig. 7) Green leather jacket and Chanel shirt. 8) Black with silver oxfords. 9) Hemingway, crazy sunglasses, ridiculous shoes, & stripes.

"she is the days i can't get over, she is the nights that i call home. endlessly, for you i'll always wait."

"whatever happened to innocence?"

I got blisters. Finally it feels like I've actually done work.

Friday was Alex's birthday. Ten of us went to P.F. Chang's.

Neg left Friday night and came back Monday.

Saturday I went boot shopping with Kristin. I ended up getting heatgear leggings by accident, since I need coldgear leggings for rowing. Saturday night I played Pictionary with Fonnie, Paige, and Nate. Paige and I were about to win when Fonnie and Paige's extremely scary RA screamed down the hall for us to shut up and go to our room and then appeared in a towel after screaming that we woke her up from a dead sleep. We went back to the dorm room and ended up having way too much fun with a bag of goldfish.

Sunday I actually woke up before 2 and met up with the Fontaine family. We all went to the Cheesecake Factory for a late lunch. It was delicious. After we got back to the dorm and did basically nothing all night. I did skype with Emma and Caitlin, but that just made me miss the past.

Thank god we have Monday off. I haven't done any work, but I'm starting some now. Going to bed so late and waking up so late is really messing me up. I need a better schedule.

"all you need to do journalism is have a short attention span and the inability to do science and algebra"

Annoying week. Naps are heavenly. I need to go to the gym and run. My body hurts from lifting weights. I like Outtakes more than the dining hall. I don't have any blisters from rowing, only little calluses, I'm 'lucky.' Jessica is supposedly coming to visit Friday to Saturday. Grey's is on tomorrow. I haven't taken a picture in weeks.

PS - My journalism teacher said the title to the class on Tuesday. Quite entertaining.

"it's a party in the usa."

Neg and I at Club Rise. Awful.

"guess what time it is. oh my god is it 4:08?!"

Wore my new purple American Eagle tunic with a pair of grey leggings to lunch with the Pratte's. :)

I'll steal more pictures from Emma and post them later.

"what i am is what i am are you what you are or what. oh i'm not aware of too many things, i know what i know if you know what i mean."

It's 2:30 a.m., technically Monday morning, but I'm going to pretend it's still Sunday night. This past week has been...interesting. I've been sick all week, had way too much work, too long practices, and not enough sleep.

Monday through Friday consisted of class, crew, sleeping, eating, and studying. Tuesday my journalism teacher said "life sucks, then you die," which pretty much set the mood for the rest of the week. On Wednesday I had a huge biology exam, which is a big problem since I did awful on the first quiz and did awful on the exam as well. I'm going to need a tutor. Pronto. Thursday I skipped biology to sleep, first ever class I missed, so much for keeping my perfect attendance. I'm actually mad at myself about it, but being sick and extremely sleep deprived and having to wake up two hours later to go to a three hour crew practice, and knowing I wouldn't miss a single important thing, I'm trying to forget about it.

Friday night Neg and I went to Club Rise from 11-1. It was fun, but I wouldn't go back again. There were so many sketch balls. Yuck.

Saturday we slept in, had lunch with Yalda, and then spent a few hours on Newbury Street. It was ultimately a fail. Shops closed at weird times and certain J Brand jeans which were on sale were flare and not skinny. We did, however, get a free tall coffee at Starbucks, which was delightful. We got back and I was so excited to go to bed somewhat early and sleep in again, but no. We ended up getting ready and going to an apartment party, which lead to a 2 mile walk to a frat. Kegs, jungle juice, a really crappy DJ, and three hours later, we left. It was around 1 or 2, and we ended up going to be around 3.

Sunday I woke up around 12 planning on running errands all days, but instead I sat around until 2 and got a text from Emma and Mrs. Pratte that they were coming to visit me for lunch. I got ready, met up with them, and we went out to Uno's. It was so nice to see Emma! I thought I was going to have to wait fifty-two more days, but nope, there she was, in Boston, bullying me around. After Uno's we went back to Stetson West and I showed them my room, and then we walked back to where they parked and I said goodbye. I've now seen every loser's club member in Boston! Except for the biggest loser, of course. After Emma left I met up with Neg and we went to Newbury Street again, this time she was successful in buying two new pairs of boots and I was successful at a, thankfully open, CVS. Unfortunately, a gorgeous pair of shoes did not fit my entirely too large feet, and I left mad.

We got back, ate, I took a two hour nap (very bad idea), and now I have to revise and English paper and finish some Spanish homework.

I'm incredibly not happy about my current academic standings. I'm really worried about biology and I think I'm going to get a tutor. My English professor tore apart my paper and I feel like I need to redo the entire thing. It's due tomorrow.

I hope I make it through. I'm really overwhelmed.
