"if every word i said could make you laugh, i'd talk forever."

The place to be.

Why in the world do we have a meeting when OTH is on?

Jackie turned 18 today!

Our hall is quite colorful now. :)

"i've been looking so long at these pictures of you that i almost believe that they're real."

Air guitar.

Belting it out.

We Skype when we are in the same building.

"I'm so hungover right now it's not even funny."

"I only know one thing he wants....starts with a b ends with a j."

Emma sent me a New Hampshire apple. We ate them together.

Nicole Kidman.

"I hate you."

"where's the chapstick?"

Woke up at 12:30, got ready, and was picked up by my parents at 2.
They took me to lunch at Piattini's, my absolute FAVORITE Italian restaurant.
And they gave me boxes and boxes of cold medicine.
They dropped me back off at my dorm at 4:30.
I went into the caf to get some drinks and got yelled at for carrying three cups out.

From 5-7 I took a nap. Then at 7:30 I was going to go see Seth Meyers but it was sold out.
Got back to the room and Skyped with Emma for a little while eating buttered popcorn jelly beans from my mom.

It's midnight and I still need to shower and write this five page paper, and I'm sickerrrr. :(

"thunder cats are go."

9:45 - woke up and got ready
10:00 - went and had breakfast
10:30 - left for the boathouse

From 10:30-1:00 all the walk-ons and all the freshmen recruits went to the boathouse for the "Freshman Regatta." It consisted of all of the walk-ons and recruits being evenly divided up and put into three teams, in three boats. I got super upset when all the teams where being read off and Miranda, the assistant coach, hadn't placed me in a boat. She took out someone who had already experienced a race before and put me in her spot, telling me that it didn't mean anything that she had forgotten about me, but of course I was still paranoid about it the entire time. Having an experienced coxswain made the entire process of getting out onto the water so much faster. We warmed up and got in line to race. Our boat was dubbed the "Thunder Cats" and we ended up winning. The racing was so exciting, so much is going on around you and you have to focus all your attention to your coxswain and listen to her direction. I'm really excited to be a part of this sport.

This is a picture I took on my phone of the boathouse. This picture doesn't do it justice.

1:30-5:30 - nap
5:30-9:30 - eat, skype, get ready, do nothing - Neg went to Stonehill for the night to visit a friend
9:30-10:30 - hung out with Fonnie, Paige and Christina
10:30-12:30 - random sketchy apartment on Mission Hill
12:30-1:30 - got home, showered, cleaned my side of the room

Went to bed at 2. Even sicker than the day before. I had no fun at the creepy apartment. I ended up bumping into two girls from the rowing team. Bt my absolute favorite part was when a couple of my friends starting giving me their tabs. Made my life. Don't worry, I wasn't the girl at the sketchy apartment going around collecting tabs of people I don't know. Gross.

Time management is not working out for the me though. I have a 5 page paper due Monday at 10:30. Yikes.

"cause when i leave for the night i ain't coming back"

Long day. Journalism class 8:00-9:40. Study from 9:45-11:45. Showed up 10 minutes late to my biology lab which was fro 11:45-2:45, but we got out at 2. Then I ate lunch and had practice from 3:30-6, and then had dinner with the team. Got back to the room, showered, and got ready to go to Club Rise, an 18+ club in Boston.

Eventful night.

So, first off, we have to take the T to get there. Neg and I both have $20 bills with us, which we put into the T when we get on. Unfortunately this was the reason for our downfall. The T gives us back a Charlie ticket worth $18. At that point we are on the T and have no money with us at all to get into the club. We end up going to the club, cutting the 300+ people line and getting a ticket, but still not having the necessary $10 per person. We see people from Northeastern and even Kayla and her group of friends from Simmons, but no one will spot us to get in, so we leave. We walk back to the T and get on, ride for probably 5 stops and realize we got on the wrong line. Some very nice strangers then give us directions on how to get back, involving getting off in a few stops, taking a bus to another T stop and taking the T back to Northeastern. Well we get off at the designated spot and we are waiting for the bus when, out of nowhere, Neg's cousin and his date walk by. They offer to drive us home, and we accept.

We get home around 12 and end up hanging out with Fonnie for a little while because her night was a bust as well. Then a couple guys who had gotten written up for drinking in their dorm came and told us about their night. They leave around 3, and another guy who was 25 and who didn't go to the school came and asked us if we knew where he could get some food. Our fault for having our door open at 3 a.m., I guess. Neg and I offer him an apple and he ends up sitting down on Neg's bed and telling us his life story for an hour. It was awful. He smelt so bad of smoke by the time we finally ended up kicking him out we had to douse the room with Frebreze. We went to bed around 4, and I had to wake up early for crew. It was bad.

And I'm getting sicker.

"when it hurts so much you can't breathe, that's when you survive."

Skyped with Cait and showed off our matching shirts! :)

The signs I put on the door!

Then I skyped with Ash later that night.

"tell me, did you fall for a shooting star, one without a permanent scar, and did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there."

Woke up this morning at 9:15, got ready and went to my 10:30 college writing class. After class I went to lunch with Neg, Mike, Bobby, Rory, and Keith and then straight to study hall for an hour. I feel asleep watching Castle on Monday, so during Tuesday's study hall I finished watching it. Today I didn't have any of my books with me to do my homework so I didn't get anything accomplished. After study hall I went straight to biology. After bio I ran back to the dorm, changed, and met up with the 3:00 group for crew practice.

We took a van to the boat house, and I was the only one who had yet to go there. It was gorgeous. We threw our stuff in our lockers, and went straight out onto the water. It was so much fun. I learned so much and I literally can't wait for practice tomorrow. I really want to make top 8 so that I can race at the head of the Charles. Plus, top 8 rows on Oct. 3rd and since I'm not going to the cape anymore :( at least it'll be for a good reason.

I got back from crew at 6, showered, and ate dinner. I'm meeting up with Fonnie at 8 to do our laundry. I need to study for my Spanish quiz tomorrow and hopefully go to bed before 12 since I still have a sore throat and the feeling of a cold coming on.

Megan and I ended up not going to the Mat Kearney concert because neither of us were feeling well and she actually had a fever. Plus, neither of us had his new CD, and it probably would have been $30 wasted.

I'm definitely buying ticket for The Bravery and Train, but the Joshua Radin concert is still in the air.

I need to take more pictures.

"everything is different, everything has taken it's toll. everyone around me crowds in but we all feel alone."

Dunkaccino in hand, I arrived to my journalism class 15 minutes early today. There was no chance I was going to be late again. Though, I did feel feel better when a kid strolled in around 8:30. I had my laptop with me today so that helped keep me awake as well.

After class, at 9:40, I called my mom as I walked back to my dorm, informing her that I think I'm starting to get sick. I had a sore throat all morning. When I got back to my dorm at 9:50 I went straight back to bed.

Around 11:30 a car backfired right outside our window and some kids screamed, and people thought that someone got shot. I jumped out of bed, half asleep, looked out the window, then crawled back into bed until 1.

At 1 I woke up and got dressed for my swim test. I walked over to Cabot for 1:30 to swim my four laps and tread water for 3 minutes. It was easy, but I stupidly forgot a towel and had to walk back to my dorm wearing drenched clothes.

I put on dry clothes and went to down to eat at 2:30. At 3 I left for my other journalism class, which is suppose to be more of a freshman seminar, guiding you on your major's path. The class is suppose to be from 3:25-4:30, but we got out at 4. From there I went to an hour of study hall until 5. From 5-5:45 I hung out in my dorm, and then went to practice.

We had a weight lifting practice today from 6-7:30. We did a warm-up, squats, bench presses, and a ladder of push ups and crunches. I already know I'm not going to be able to move tomorrow.

Tomorrow is the first day we'll be going to the boat house and practicing on the water! I'm so excited.

I'm even more excited to go to bed before 11. Goodnight!

"did you see the size of my butt? i went to mcdonalds."

My new Needtobreathe shirt that I wore today. :)

Skyped with Loser's Club again today! For like a solid hour, it was epic. Then I had crew from 5:30-7. After crew I had dinner with 5 other crew girls as we talked about the awesome assistant coach, the fact that they actually do random drug tests, and the 5 hrs a week study hall we have to do all first semester.

I wore my senior shirt to practice. :)

Then I conferenced call with Loser's Club minus the biggest loser (which reminds me that I need to watch that episode), and watched Castle at 10.
Joe thinks Fonnie's bitter. And Emma won't stop going on about coconuts.

Also, I ate my last granola bar today. Which I guess is a good thing for there will be no more snacking at night. Now all I have is two boxes of hot chocolate, two boxes of tea, 1 package of lemonade packets, 1 bag of popcorn, and a jar of peanut butter. I need to steal more apples from the cafeteria though.

Hopefully bed early since I have an 8am class that I will not miss the first 20 minutes of.

"lights came down, and the room spun slow."

"x's on the back of your hands, washed them in the bathroom to drink like the bands."

"where'd you get the coconuts?"

After the concert we took a cab back to Stetson and I hung out in Fonnie's room for a little until Neg came home. I took a shower and hung out with a bunch of people in our dorm until about 4, when we finally went to bed.

We woke up at 1:15, got ready, and went to lunch around 2:30. After lunch, Neg and I walked to the MFA for an English project where we have to "have a conversation with a painting." It was the first time I got to see the giant baby heads! I actually had no idea there were two of them, I always thought there was only one.

We took a couple pictures, walked around a bit, and were done and back at Stetson within half an hour. I finally got to take some pictures in daylight, which was nice, but the 2 minute walk from the MFA to Stetson didn't really offer much.

Our building was offering a "Pajama Party" tonight at 7 to watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail, but we skipped out on it.

I still have a paper to write for college writing and a quiz on chapters 1-5 in biology tomorrow. Shoot me. I was hoping not to procrastinate this much in college. Then I have a meeting at 5:30 about crew and then practice. Hopefully between 2:40, when I get out of class, and before crew, I am able to go buy Mat Kearney tickets for Wednesday!

I love Boston. :)
